Afternoon tea

Nothing quite matches a good bit of bling like a leisurely lunch with the bestie. Afternoon tea and a good natter soon lead us into cocktails and even more gossiping! Just as well I had my statement jewellery to keep me looking good. With it's glitter head and gold detail, it definitely caught the eye of a lot of people!

The life of a working girl

I've been crazy busy the past few weeks rushing between my part time job and my placement so this Mulbery Mabel has been a perfect companion! In the ever so practical black, I never have to stop to consider if it clashes with my outfit. It's handy compartments have been great for slotting in business cards, notepads, pens, chocolate... Plus watching the wandering eyes as I arrive for meetings has definitely been a great confidence boost!

Post holiday blues

Nothing quite cures the post holiday blues like lunch with friends and the kaleidoscope of colourful skulls this Alexander McQueen scarf offers. Big enough to double up as a wrap, it is bright enough to make me still believe I'm soaking up the foreign culture whilst still providing the necessary Scottish practicalities. Oh the joys...

Summer time!

After the most mental year of my life, 2 long weeks away was definitely what I needed! With my Fendi cuff in tow, I spent lazy days soaking up the sunshine and long nights sipping cocktails. It's lightweight plastic made it the perfect companion for daytime denim shorts as well as evening maxi dresses. Can't wait to try out the lilac cuff next!

Spring has sprung!

So last week I took a well deserved study break (that's a lie the laptop came with me!) and went to visit my friend in Portugal. I was so happy to come home to some better weather! This Michael Kors Python Hobo bag has been great for carrying all those 'just in case items'. Umberella? Check. Sunglasses? Check. Spring in my step? Check!

Festive Fun

Sorry for the lack of blog post recently, final exams and coursework took over my life and I am completely positive that glamorous accessories did not go well with my studying look of oversized t-shirts and my brother's hoodies.

Thankfully the festive season has brought lots of socialising and laughter into my life again! This Angel Jackson belt has been an ideal piece for those nights that turn out to be a lot longer than anticipated! It's beautiful statement gold jaguar looks just as good in my local pub as the dancefloors of Glasgow City Centre.

I hope Santa brought you lots of lovely things. If he missed the mark (again) this year then keep your eyes peeled for all our beautiful new stock that will be coming your way very soon!

Adventures on hold...

To all my wonderful followers,

Unfortunately due horribly scary final exams, my fabulous adventures have had to take a wee break. However, don't you worry, I will be back just in time for Christmas to show you how to bring that Hollywood glamour to your festive season.

House of Harlow heroine

Being loaded with the cold this week, this House of Harlow bracelet has become my heroine making me feel glamorous even if my Roulph-esque nose begs to differ. The black and gold aztec design has been a sure fire winner with every outfit from the casual 'I'm spending the day in the library' to the much better 'it's my sister's birthday' evening outfit. Team with some statement earrings and this bracelet becomes the perfect accessory to make you feel fabulous.

Tourists

As I'm in my final year of university, we are constantly being reminded we should improve our 'cultural capital' in order to make us more employable people. Despite having lived in Glasgow my whole life, I've never really taken a step back to see how beautiful this city is through the eyes of a tourist. So as inspiration for my friend's final year project, we set off on a trip round the city centre with ours eyes up taking in all the beautiful architecture Glasgow has to offer.

This Alexander McQueen hummingbird scarf was the perfect companion with it's gorgeous splashes of colour and silky, soft touch. Giving any outfit that McQ edge, I definitely didn't feel like your typical tourist!
